Frequently Asked Questions

Can we meet you before we book?

Absolutely! I would love to catch up over a coffee to chat about your plans and how I can best help you, or if time is an issue, I’m happy to catch up via FaceTime too!

Do you work alone?

Yes, it’s just me! I usually work on my own and I’m very confident in doing so, but if the boys are getting ready at a distant location or you want to add another perspective of the ceremony, adding a second shooter would be great. I would still edit all the images to ensure a cohesive look of your gallery.

How soon will we receive our photos?

Your full gallery of high resolution images will be ready within 6 weeks of your wedding day. It will be uploaded to an online gallery for you to easily share with family and friends. I also send my couples a ‘sneak peek’ with a small selection of images about a week after the wedding. Lifestyle photos will be ready in 2-3 weeks.

How many images will we receive and when do we get them?

In short, a lot! The number of photos varies from wedding to wedding and depends on how many hours I’m shooting, if I have a second photographer, and the events of the day. Typically it works out to be around 70-100 per hour, but I have no limit. I send my couples a ‘sneak peek’ with a. small selection of images about a week after the wedding. You will receive your full online gallery within 6 weeks of your wedding, and 2-3 weeks for portrait sessions.

How do we book you?

The booking process is simple! All I require to reserve your wedding date or portrait session is a signed contract and a 30% booking fee, and your date is in my calendar! Once a booking has taken place, you’ll receive my planning guide with lots of information about planning your wedding, getting the most out of your photography, awesome vendors I would highly recommend and other tips and tricks to make your day run as smoothly as possible!

Can you help us out with a timeline of our day?

I would LOVE to help you out with scheduling your wedding day to make sure that both you and I have enough time for family formal portraits, for creative bride and groom portraits, and for travel time. Please chat with me about your schedule so we can make sure it works well for what you’d like to get out for your photos.

Will you direct us during the shoot?

At weddings, I love to capture moments as they happen – so for most of the day, I won’t interrupt. But at the bride & groom photo session I’ll guide you so you know what to do. At lifestyle photography sessions, I’ll take photos of you and your loved ones hanging out together and having fun.
